Super League (PSL) 2019
Pakistan Super League (PSL) is a 20-20 cricket
league where six teams compete with each other for 6 weeks to win a
championship title. In each team, group is made up of top players selected from
international teams like England, New Zealand, West Indies and more. The PSL
2019 is coming up with its 4th edition and the matches are organized in venue
across UAE and Pakistan.
PSL encourages the fair and healthy competitive
environment where the rival teams compete against one another. The teams that
are including in PSL are:

Kings
Ø Quetta
Galidators
Ø Multan
Sultans
Ø Lahore
Qalandars
Ø Islamabad
United
Ø Peshawar
Zalmi
Over 34 matches there teams battle it out on the
field for the series title. During the tournament each team plays against other
only once.
On 14 Feburary, the first coin toss setting will
take place in Dubai. 14 matches will be hosted overall at Dubai International
Cricket Stadium, from 14 to 17 February and 26 February to 1 March.
Opening Ceremony
The Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, singers Aiman
Baig and Shuja Haider, singers of the title anthem Fawad Khan and rapper Young
Desi will be performing on the occassion of opening ceremony of PSL. There will
also be performing international singers like rapper Pitbull, Marcia Barrett,
Boney M.. On 14 February, the ceremony is scheduled and it will take place
before the first match at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
PSL Schedule
The schedule of PSL 2019 has been released and will
start from 14 February in UAE. The last 4 tournament will be played in Pakistan
with the final played in Karachi on 17th March.
In UAE the matches will be played in Dubai, Sharjah
and Abu Dhabi and in Pakistan the venue for final eight matches will be Karachi
and Lahore.
The season begins with the first game between Lahore
Qalandars and Islamabad United on 14 February in Dubai. The season ends with
the final on 17 March in Karachi.
